In this hands-on class, learn how to combine and edit your videos; keep the parts you want and remove the rest. understand timelines; add effects, transitions and text, overlay music and sound. Create a YouTube account and upload your movie.
Thursday, November 4 at 10 AM Intro to Computers
This is a slow-paced, user-friendly hands-on workshop for first-time computer users. You will learn how to turn the computer on, the Windows desktop, using the mouse, opening programs, inputting text, saving a file and turning the computer off.
Please register for these classes at the reference desk; priority is given to Bellmore cardholders until two weeks before the program. These classes fill up quickly and registration is essential. Call 785-2990 or sign up in person at the reference desk. Free for BML cardholders, Non-cardholders, $10.

Sign up now for Safe Driving Classes at the library. There will be AARP 55 Alive Driving classes on Wednesday, September 15, Saturday, October 23 and Wednesday, November 17. Classes begin at 10 AM and end at 5 PM. Fee is $12 for AARP cardholders, or $14 for the 8-hour class.
There are evening Defensive Driving Classes, 7 - 10 PM on Thursday evenings, October 7 and 14 and on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, December 1 and 2 with instructor, Steve Schwartz. Fee: $35.
